From a weak believer to a strong believer. There should be an upgrade. What is the process to follow to be strong in faith?
People will tell you that they try to be Good Christians. They try to do what God’s wants them to do.
Many fell on their faces because they fail in their walk with God. The Bible is teaching us that trying our best, is not good enough for God. God does not command us to try anything.
Whatever we try is like filthy rags before God.
Stop trying.
I pray that what I am giving you here will be profitable to you. For you to know what you need to do in the Kingdom of God. We read in:
WHAT IS YOUR POSITION?
Colossians 1:12-13 NKJV
12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
God already qualified us to be partakers. It says you are qualified.
You already delivered out of the power of darkness. Entering in the kingdom of the Son Who He love. The result is that we are in the kingdom of light, and not captured under the power of darkness anymore!
Suddenly we are removed from darkness into the light by the Father.
By understand that you are now free from darkness. Jesus did it on the cross. Accepting the sacrifice of Jesus, you are born-again. Then the bible tells us in:
HOW DOES IT HAPPENS?
1 Peter 1:23 NKJV
having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
That you are born from God. It is called authentic salvation. The seed of God in you.
When you’re born-again, everything is accomplished. Now, you live a life that is pleasing to God.
THE CONCLUSION
Through the Holy Spirit you will walking according to the Spirit. Walking in the spirit, you walk according to the word of God.
The focus is to become one in the Spirit. Become one with Christ is a process.
This process is happening, to the extent of receiving the proceeding truth of the Word of God and changing our thinking, as we renew our minds. With an authentic salvation, the inevitable is, you will never back slide.
