What is your diet? A lack of a good diet can cause frustration, which will lead to strife between God’s people. Having to pray that the Kingdom of God must come on earth as it is in heaven, strife will prevent this to become reality, for God’s to manifest on the earth as it is in heaven.
1 Corinthians 3:1-3 NKJV
(1) And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.
(2) I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;
(3) for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
Paul said to the Corinthian believers that he can’t speak to them as spiritual people, because they were carnal. Carnal believers are still babies in Christ. They are still feeding only on milk and not on solid food. They can’t eat spiritual solid food because they can’t receive it.
Being still carnal, we behave like mere men, and that is characterized by envy, strife, and divisions. This is preventing us to come together in ONENESS. Jesus was praying “That they are one as We are one” (John 17:22)
In not being ONE, we are actually against the purposes of God for our lives, resulting in sowing bad seeds.
Galatians 6:7 AMPC
(7) Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.
The Bible also says the following about the Holy Spirit that is working on the inside of us:
Ephesians 4:30-32 NKJV
(30) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
(31) Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, [i]clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
(32) And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
Grieving the Holy Spirit is when bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and all evil speaking should be put away with malice. God is demanding us today: be tender-hearted, forgiving one another, and then continue; EVEN AS GOD IN CHRIST FORGAVE YOU.
Galatians 6:7 KJV
(7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Paul warned the Galatians when he wrote to them, not to be deceived, deluded, and misled. This very message is also written to us today and therefore we must give attention to it. In writing this to the Galatians, it meant that there was a problem in the Galatian church.
When leaning on our own understanding, and so set aside the precepts of God, we scorned, disdained, and mocked Him by our mere pretensions or professions. The Bible says then we inevitably delude ourselves who attempts to delude God.
This is a principle in the natural but also in the spiritual, what we sow, we will also reap.
