John 2:16-17 AMPC
(16) Then to those who sold the doves He said, Take these things away (out of here)! Make not My Father’s house a house of merchandise (a marketplace, a sales shop)!
(17) And His disciples remembered that it is written [in the Holy Scriptures], Zeal (the fervor of love) for Your house will eat Me up. [I will be consumed with jealousy for the honor of Your house.]

In the Kingdom of God, the things of God are precious and it is sacred; you handle them with great care. In John 2:16, we read that they sold doves: symbolic it means they sold the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We must remember that the Holy Spirit came and sit on the shoulder of Jesus after He was baptized; the dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit.

They made the things of God common; they made the house of the Father a marketplace, and they made it a worldly system! Jesus did it because of His zeal for the House of His Father. Symbolic a house speaks of a family. What does it actually say? The zeal the fervor and love for Your family eat Me up! The Bible tells us that God is a jealous God. In the Kingdom, we love our spiritual family, we put our family before ourselves, we think not only about our own affairs but also about the affairs of our family.

Philippians 2:4 AMPC
(4) Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not [merely] his own interests, but also each for the interests of others.

We must not be only concerned about our own interests, but also the interest of others. In the Kingdom of God, it is about Christ and His church. Jesus says what you do to others you are doing it first to Him. Let us look at our conduct and attitude with those that are coming in contact with us, and let us consider our ways what we live.
